Operating System Reinstallation

  • Reinstalling your operating system can speed up your computer and solve multiple problems.
  • Applies to Windows and MacOS (El Capitan and newer)
  • Not including software license. Data transfer starting at + £20.

Hardware Installation


Hardware - the physical parts of your computer, e.g. RAM and hard drive.

£ 30 estimate
  • Upgrade your computer's hardware and make it feel like new again!
  • Excluding the price of hardware.

Virus
Removal


Virus - a malicious program.

£ 45 estimate
  • Viruses can slow down your computer and steal your data. I'll remove any malware and install antivirus for you.
  • Including free antivirus software, paid software can be provided at the going rate.

Computer Setup and Optimisation

£ 50 estimate
  • Transfer files and programs and removal of bloatware.
  • Price may vary based on the number/size of files and complexity of transfer.

Computer Health Check and Service

£ 55 estimate
  • This service includes a virus scan; unwanted files deletion (e.g. previous Windows installs); interior and exterior clean and hardware test. Make your PC feel like new again!
  • In some cases, further measures may have to be taken, e.g. reinstalling the operating system or upgrading hardware. This can be discussed when the computer is brought in.

Computer Build and OS Install

£ 60 estimate
  • You choose the parts (help available!), I'll build the computer.
  • Not including cost of hardware and software license.

  • Computer not turning on or playing up? Don't buy a new computer, replace the component!

BG Computers offers a range of repairs for many devices, including desktop computers, laptops, and selected tablets and phones.

 

Broken laptop screen? Printer not connecting? Computer crashing? Or another issue that you just can’t sort? Get in touch and I’ll be happy to help.

 

If you’re local to the Norwich area, I can come to you. This is ideal for problems that we need to work through together, such as printer and email issues. I’m also very happy to demonstrate solutions and work through any queries you may have together.

 

Alternatively, repairs can be dropped off at Blofield Heath, Norwich – perfect for when you have a more stubborn hardware problem that needs investigating.

 

Please note, for some repairs, parts may need to be ordered in. If this is the case, I can advise a timeframe. Occasionally repairs may not be economical or feasible, but I can always advise the best course of action.
